Salmon
I target salmon in two prolific waterways: Lake Michigan out
of the Port of Manistee, trolling methods are used to locate
the fish here, this is done form mid July-August.
Then, as the salmon move
closer to the mouth of the Big Manistee River, they will start
migrating up the river in preparation to spawn. At this
time from late August to mid October I run my salmon fishing
trips in the Big Manistee River.
